For Normal Sudoku:
The goal is to put the numbers 1-9 in each row, column and 3x3 box.
Set the numbers with the mouse (left button to insert answer, right to use pencil/scratch marks).

For Sudoku Solitaire:
This concept of playing sudoku was created by bluenitesystems.
It is the first of it's kind!
The goal and game options are the same as in the regular Sudoku Puzzle;
however, the numbers are played from a deck and discard pile,
just like in the Solitaire card game.

Click the Next card button to display a card then click where in the puzzle you want it to go
or leave it in the discard pile for later and get a next card.
The right mouse button still dose pencil/scratch marks).
The undo button will undo one card.

The manual setup allows for doing puzzles from outside sources (can be timed but no high score).
To use manual setup
1: Click the manual setup button,(it's text will change to "OK"),
2: set the numbers as you want by selecting the location with the left mouse button and selecting the number,
3: click the "OK" button.
The game is now ready to play.

There are ten skill levels available based on the amount of missing numbers in a 3x3 box,

  • Mystery: (3-6 missing per box) Random,
  • 1: (3 missing per box),
  • 2: (3-4 missing per box) Random,
  • 3: (3-5 missing per box) Random,
  • 4: (4 missing per box),
  • 5: (4-5 missing per box) Random,
  • 6: (5 missing per box),
  • 7: (4-6 missing per box) Random,
  • 8: (5-6 missing per box) Random,
